I really enjoyed my meal here. It was quite tasty I wanted to go back but time ran out and I was only in the area for a couple of weeks.

I ate at the Gigantic Wonton place next door and grabbed some crispy chicken pad thai for my kid at home. This was in the bag for at least 30-45 minutes before taking the picture. The crispy chicken was still kinda crispy! The pad thai noodles had great flavor. My daughter enjoyed the food. The restaurant looks clean, and ordering the take out was easy. Price is about what is expected. The crispy chicken was an additional $4. Note: - Street parking only, in a very busy area! - Seating appears limited here, so call ahead if you have a large party for dining in.

I got takeout from Laughing Monk a few times during my time in Boston. The first time, I got the drunken noodles and they were unlike any drunken noodles I'd had before... not in a good way. The assortment of vegetables was atypical for drunken noodles and the flavor was also not very drunken noodles-esque. The shrimp was well cooked and plump though! I ordered again a few days later (listen, minimal options in the area) and got the kua gei, which is the reason for this 4 star (instead of 2/3). I'd never had this dish before but it was so delicious! Nice thick noodles with egg and lettuce. I thought the cooked lettuce would be weird, but it actually worked really well! Highly recommend this dish! Very easy to order online and quick pickup as well.

Was here for lunch on a Friday! They don't seat people at tables until everyone in the party is there, but otherwise we got to our table pretty quickly. Ordered the unagi don, which was a modest portion size of eel on rice. The flavor of the eel was sweet-savory barbecue, and it went really well the with rice. Enjoyed this light meal!
